Oceans 11 is one of my absolute favs and I rewatch it whenever it’s on TV or I’m feeling down. It never gets old. I haven’t seen Grewt Muppet Caper since it was in theaters! I need to rewatch!!

2. The Muppet Caper is the best muppet movie by far

I love this take, MKG. You're obviously a Piggy lover.

Heist movies! Best. Genre. Ever. First, I loved the Italian job. The Mini Coopers are ridiculous in a good way. Second, it’s not for your list but I love the Pierce Brosnan Thomas Crowne Affair way more than I should. Also, did you know that Colson Whitehead’s new novel is about a heist? I think it’s already optioned for film…

Hi Bibliomolly! Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce B. and Renee R. was *huge* when I worked at Video Library—copies flew off the shelves and rightly so! I can't remember if there's sex or if our leads were just bringing sexy back to their careers; do you think H.B. (15) and L.B. (11) could watch it? I have a feeling they'd love it! Cannot wait for the Whitehead novel and movie!

I am shocked--shocked!--that The Muppet Movie is not among your top four Muppet films. Mel Brooks! The Rainbow Connection! The original Muppet road trip! Also, while I am going Muppet-crazy, may I suggest Follow That Bird for future consideration?

MSK, I stand by my ranking, but have been thinking about Follow That Bird *a lot* this week—it was just so formative for me...and now it's streaming on HBOMax (I think). Also: Big Bird in Japan—though I don't think that one's possible to get online. To answer your question: Yes!
